My Company

Evening all,

Last week, we were allocated a company for the assessment of this unit. At first, I was bummed that my company wasn't an Australian base and how I had to consider the difference in currency. However, I am excited to discover and explore what this company is about.

Without further ado, my company is Imperial Brands. It is a UK based company which markets internationally.

I believe that this company is a leading consumer good of tobacco, and there are sub-companies within Imperial Brands, such as Imperial Tobacco, ITG Brands, Fontem Ventures and Logista. This company is a “global consumer organisation and the fourth largest international tobacco company, operating across 120 markets” and heritages back to the 1700s.

Imperial Brand has a dynamic portfolio of cigarette, fine cut and other tobacco products; however, it was fascinating to learn although this is a tobacco company, they are committed to the importance of harm reduction for potentially less harmful products, with their Next Generation Products. Along with the practice of sustainability.
